Patriots Show Dominance Against High School of the Future

FORT WASHINGTON — The Germantown Academy boy’s basketball team rode their offense to a blowout victory over High School of the Future on Jan. 27. The Patriots had 10 players score in their 76-50 victory over the Firebirds. The 76 points were a season high for GA, who ended their four game losing streak with the win.

Piloting the offense was Zachary Anderson ’20, who made nine shots and finished with 20 points. Brian Basile ’19 contributed 15 points and made all five of his free throws.

The Patriots showed their dominance before and after the half, scoring a combined 44 points in the second and third quarter. In the final frame, they locked in defensively and only allowed their opponent to score 10 points.

Germantown Academy will visit The Haverford School on Jan. 30 before returning for their Senior Night against Episcopal Academy on Feb. 2 at 7:30 p.m.
